Sunday the 9 of July and only 106 out!

I have been watching the weather this week a lot more than normal to see how things play out while on the trip. It feels like 106 right now, so a little hot out. Hopi for a little less heat for the trip.

The weather will be a huge factor for how fast we go, when we stop, when we go, and how hard we will ride. It is the first trip where the weather is really one of the main factors to keep track of.

Churchill we knew would be cold so you go with it and the trucks and trains are warm. On the cruise you just go with it as you can walk in the rain, sail in the rain, and tour in the rain, heat, cold, dry, and sun.

On Harley's going 1000 miles, the weather is a deciding factor for all that you do. If it is bad weather you sit and wait, and wait, and wait. It can be a little nerve racking, but as Mom says "it is what it is".

So pray for good weather and good driving conditions.
